The Unit Specification gives detail of what you will study and how you will be assessed. It can be bit complicated to understand. Depending on you level you will be assessed at either SCQF Level 4 (F3GF 10) or Level 5 (F3GF 11)
Briefly there are 2 sections
Using Number - percentages, income tax, timesheets, formula, etc. There is also a setion on reading scales.
Using Graphical Information - one question on reading a graph, another on drawing a graph.
The Unit Specifications and Assessment Support Packs can be found on the SQA website. The link goes directly to the Core Skills Numeracy section so you wont have to struggle with the SQA website. YEH!
